By Portal Admin - 1st October 2018 - Back to News Figures released today by the Crime Statistics Agency confirm Daniel Andrews has failed to make our streets safer for women.
Under Daniel Andrews’ watch there’s been a shocking increase in violent crime, including a 20.82 per cent increase in rape and a 33.2 per cent increase in sexual offences.
The data shows more than 40 sexual offence crimes are recorded each day.
Women have a right to feel safe in our community, but Labor’s cuts to frontline police have left police under-resourced to do their important work keeping us safe.
Figures supplied by The Police Association show there are now 190 fewer frontline police than there were in 2013 as crimes rates are up 10.36 per cent under Daniel Andrews.
While Victorians are less safe with increases in numbers of violent crimes, NSW is still experiencing dramatic declines in crime rates.
