Jenner Avenue in Cowes to undergo asphalt works from 7 to 9 December 2022
Jenner Avenue in Cowes will undergo asphalt sealing works from the 7th to 9th December.
Bass Coast Shire Council has engaged A1 Asphalting to complete the works, as part of the 2022-23 Capital works program. The program will be completed under traffic control with minimal delays and restrictions. To minimise disruptions and allow the successful completion of works, affected landowners are asked to not park their motor vehicles on the road during works.
Bass Coast Shire Council wishes to advise that annual asphalt sealing works are about to start on Jenner Avenue and other various roads throughout the shire
Delivering the necessary works
Access to properties will be maintained, although short delays may occur. Noise from plant and machinery - including rollers, bitumen spraying equipment and truck delivery of works materials to site - will also occur.
Council advises that all works are subject to contractor availability, favourable weather conditions, and therefore may need rescheduling. We appreciate that these works may present an inconvenience and we have asked for everyone's patience during these times. Our contractor will make every effort to minimise disruptions during construction.
