International rose garden festival and outdoor dining initiativeInternational rose garden festival and a complementary outdoor dining initiative in Morwell. By Portal Admin - 22nd November 2020 - Back to News Latrobe City Council is staging the International Rose Garden Festival and a complementary Outdoor Dining Initiative in Morwell this weekend which may be of media interest. Media may like to cover the AGL Midsummer Night Lights from 7.30pm - 10.30pm Saturday and Sunday evenings, and outdoor dining: Saturday 14 November, 12 to 9pm and Sunday 15 November, 10am to 3pm. 
International Rose Garden Festival (Morwell Centenary Rose Garden) you are invited a free online event and are welcome to participate and engage in live chats Online event inclusionsThis will be the only on-ground activity at the Morwell Centenary Rose Garden, as the rest of the festival will be held online this year due to COVID-19. The online events include: - Workshops
- Music
- Children’s entertainment
- Stalls and garden talks
- Gippsland food and wine producers
- Local musicians and the AGL Midsummer Night Lights
The festival will be broadcast to the world as a fully interactive online virtual event. Council is also staging a Latrobe City outdoor dining initiative across the weekend featuring a host of cafes and restaurants, al-fresco social spaces, live music and children’s entertainment. The event is designed to support local traders' rebound from COVID hospitality restrictions. What- International Rose Garden Festival (Morwell Centenary Rose Garden)
