International Rose Garden Festival and a complementary Outdoor Dining Initiative in Morwell.

Latrobe City Council is staging the International Rose Garden Festival and a complementary Outdoor Dining Initiative in Morwell this weekend which may be of media interest.
Media may like to cover the AGL Midsummer Night Lights from 7.30pm - 10.30pm Saturday and Sunday evenings, and outdoor dining: Saturday 14 November, 12 to 9pm and Sunday 15 November, 10am to 3pm.
This will be the only on-ground activity at the Morwell Centenary Rose Garden, as the rest of the festival will be held online this year to due to COVID-19.
The online events include: workshops, music, children’s entertainment, stalls and garden talks, Gippsland food and wine producers, local musicians and the AGL Midsummer Night Lights.
The festival will be broadcast to the world as a fully interactive online virtual event.
Council is also staging a Latrobe City Outdoor Dining Initiative across the weekend featuring a host of cafes and restaurants, al-fresco social spaces, live music and children’s entertainment.
The event is designed to support local traders rebound from COVID hospitality restrictions.
