The rare combination of pianist, composer and arranger Joe Chindamo and violinist Zoe Black will take audiences on a musical journey from jazz to classical for the first performance of the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre’s Sweet Soiree subscription. The hour-long show will take place on Sunday 19 February from 2.30pm.

Latrobe City Council’s performing arts and venues coordinator, Kathleen Roberts, said the performance defied definition.

"These two artists combine a number of musical styles into a new genre creating a musical dialogue with a combined language. Their unique brand is intriguing, innovative and engaging. Come along and be immersed," Ms Roberts said.

This show is part of the Sweet Soiree Subscription, which has been curated by Melbourne Recital Centre with support from the RACV.

Audience members can meet and greet the artists after the event. Tea and coffee will be provided.
