Careers Workshop – April 18, 7am, Monash Gippsland. University students are not known to be early risers, but Co-operative Education Students at Monash Gippsland are breaking the mould. Each fortnight, up to 40 students attend an early morning workplace training workshop with Christine Prendergast, Careers and Employment Consultant, followed by breakfast. For some students, the early start means getting up at 5am and then attending a full day of classes. The topic of this week’s workshop is Selecting and applying for the perfect position.

Making the Grade

Business student Marie Mikic Little has won a Highly Commended award with the Emerald Literati Networks Award for Excellence 2007. Her paper, titled ‘Links between service climate employee commitment and employees quality capability was published in Managing Service Quality: An International Journal.
