Cr Goodwin Reelected Mayor Of Bass Coast Council’s CEO, Allan Bawden, congratulates Cr Neville Goodwin on his reelection as Mayor. Cr Neville Goodwin was reelected Mayor of the Bass Coast Shire Council at a Statutory meeting held last night. By Bass Coast Shire - 7th December 2005 - Back to News Cr Neville Goodwin was reelected Mayor of the Bass Coast Shire Council at a Statutory meeting held last night.
The only other councillor to nominate for the position was Cr Kelly Simrajh.
Cr Goodwin thanked the Council for their vote of confidence and said they could be sure he would be 100 percent committed to the job.
"The election sent a clear message to the Council that a change in direction is needed and we are responsible to ensure that happens.
"We must work closely with staff and the community over the next three years," said Cr Goodwin.
