The ceremony was held for students who have completed Certificate II Hospitality, Certificate III Community Services (Aged Care), Certificate IV Community Services (Disability), Certificate IV Assessment and Workplace Training, Certificate II Information Technology, Certificate II and III in Business (Officer Admin) and Diploma of Business (Accounting) in 2001.
Campus Coordinator John Cargill said many of the students completed their studies through various methods of flexible delivery.
"In computer studies many students participated in self paced, individualised delivery, while some students completed traineeships in Business Studies and Aged Care," said Mr Cargill.
"The hospitality students are part of a VET (Vocational Education and Training) in Schools program offered to all secondary schools in South Gippsland".
"The program provides TAFE qualifications through practical experience, attendance at TAFE and use of the TAFE Virtual Campus, which is on-line learning."
Mr Cargill also said that the South Gippsland campus of GippsTAFE has grown considerably in recent years and is offering an expanded number of courses to an increasing number of people.
"The capacity to deliver programs in flexible and innovative ways, based on the needs of the students in South Gippsland, has become a hallmark of the campus in recent years." Mr Cargill said.
