Why: The Club is an important part of the Corinella community, being the only sports club based in the town. The redeveloped green has given current members renewed enthusiasm and they hope will also encourage new members to join.
The old green was over 13 years old and frustrating to participants because of its irregular play. The new green is expected to improve the quality of play dramatically. How: The $136,000 redevelopment was a joint funded by Sport and Recreation Victoria ($60,000), Bass Coast Shire Council ($10,000) and fundraising by the Corinella Bowls Club.
