Hannibal the Cannibal invites an old friend for dinner in the delicious first chapter

 The first and most terrifying chapter in the Hannibal Lecter trilogy, Red Dragon, takes place before the stories of Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal unfold.

The tale begins with retired FBI profiler, Will Graham (Edward Norton) back in the field and struggling to learn the identity of a particularly vicious serial killer and put a stop to the carnage. He enlists the assistance of acclaimed psychiatrist and incarcerated serial killer, Hannibal the Cannibal (Anthony Hopkins), for an insight into the mind of a murderer. Last time they came together, it was near fatal. Will Graham survive the second wind?
