Northe’s Tribute to CFA PersonnelNorthe expressed deep respect and appreciation of the local Country Fire Authority (CFA) brigades and its members. By Portal Admin - 8th December 2019 - Back to News Member for Morwell Russell Northe has today in State Parliament, taken the opportunity to again put on public record his deep respect and appreciation of our local Country Fire Authority (CFA) brigades and its members.
"I have a very long relationship with our local CFA members, having witnessed their commitment and dedication to the safety of our community for many years", Mr Northe said, speaking from Spring Street this morning. "I will always look for ways to show my support and admiration for these incredible people given what they do to serve and protect lives and property".
"Even today, as I tip my hat to some of our heroes, it is particularly poignant that many of our local CFA members are right this minute providing vital support to the New South Wales firefighting efforts".
"I thank all of our local CFA brigades and its members for their amazing work, which is unwavering in its steadfast defence and assistance to our community", Mr Northe said.
"We thank all members who have been recognised for their service at recent award night ceremonies to which they should be so proud of their contribution to the CFA and to their communities".
