Stop waiting for the internet future. It has now arrived.

Shown in the innovation that is Joke-Of-The-Day, we can see that the on-line world is as important as a newspaper with breakfast. Joke-Of-The-Day provides almost 2 million people with a smile each morning, subscribed to by more than one of the most respected daily newspapers, The New York Times.

In just over a year it expanded its subscription base from the humble beginnings of 200 users to this amazing figure. Having started as small as any site you may find on the net, it is an inspiration to anyone getting on-line. Overtaking the traditional forms of media is not a surprise to the manager of The Humour Network. In fact, he is confident that one day they will be the biggest publication in the world.

With everything from teen jokes, pet stories and political humour, there is a giggle instore for everyone. The popularity of this site may lie in the grounds that laughter is the best medicine - and a free prescription at that.

The internet, it seems, is the perfect medium for the publication of... well, just about anything. Perhaps harnassing life with a smile is a viable idea as well.
