School holiday program summer 2018Learning opportunities on school holiday programs 2018 By Portal Admin - 18th December 2017 - Back to News Planned activities and excursions are all part of the fun at Latrobe City Council’s School Holiday Program in Moe. The program is aimed at primary school-aged children and runs during the school holidays from 8am to 6pm.
Latrobe City Council’s mayor, Councillor Darrell White, said the program provides activities based on the children’s interests and learning opportunities.
"Each day presents a new event or activity for the children. From arts and crafts, movie trips, woodworking, outdoor play, swimming, Lego, cooking and sports, the program ensures that all the children attending will find something interesting or creative to do," Cr White said.
"The program is facilitated by our friendly team of qualified childcare workers and runs out of Moe PLACE at the Ted Summerton Reserve, Vale Street, Moe.
Cr White added that the School Holiday program was an affordable, quality option for your children this summer. Bookings are now open for the summer 2018 program, which runs from Monday 8 January to Thursday 25 January.
The CCB childcare rebate is also available for eligible families
