By news@gippsland - 28th June 2016 - Back to News Latrobe City Council would like to advise that Councillor Christine Sindt is now unavailable for Councillor duties until 11 July 2016 after she was granted a leave of absence at Monday’s Council meeting.
Councillor Sindt was granted a leave of absence to allow her to contest the Gippsland seat in the Federal election, which will be held on 2 July.
This follows a provision contained within the Councillor Code of Conduct that was adopted at a Special Council meeting on 9 June.
