Councillor Sindt Granted Leave of Absence
Councillor Christine Sindt is now unavailable for Councillor duties until 11 July 2016 after she was granted a leave of absence to allow her to contest the Gippsland seat in the Federal election.
Latrobe City Council would like to advise that Councillor Christine Sindt is now unavailable for Councillor duties until 11 July 2016 after she was granted a leave of absence at Monday’s Council meeting.
Councillor Sindt was granted a leave of absence to allow her to contest the Gippsland seat in the Federal election, which will be held on 2 July.
This follows a provision contained within the Councillor Code of Conduct that was adopted at a Special Council meeting on 9 June.
