GP School Day UnderwayOver 50 schools have already registered to take part in the 2006 GMC Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix on Friday 15 September. By Bass Coast Shire Council - 17th August 2006 - Back to News The Australian Grand Prix Corporation is giving students the chance to experience first hand the wonders of MotoGP by offering registered school groups free admission to the event.
Many local schools have taken up the offer, as well as schools from further afield. Already signed on are Melbourne schools from Albert Park, Melton, Brighton, Templestowe and Pakenham. Schools from Geelong, Orbost, Sale, Emerald, Leongatha and Traralgon will also be attending.
Classes will be provided with activities to undertake on the circuit as well as ideas for pre-and post-event projects intended to complement the school curriculum.
