Safe Motorcycle and Road Transport is offering VicRoads accredited vehicle testing and licensing courses

S.M.A.R.T (Safe Motorcycle and Road Transport) Training in Gippsland is offering VicRoads accredited Light Rigid, Medium Rigid, Heavy Rigid and Heavy Combination vehicle testing and licensing courses in the Warragul area.

The aim of the S.M.A.R.T Training Centre is to enhance and further develop safe driving techniques, with an emphasis on the importance of driver attitudes, and is authorised by VicRoads to test on its behalf.

The Light Rigid Licence Course is a half day program, concluding with a VicRoads assessment and test for the Light Rigid Licence.

The Medium Rigid Licence Course is a full day program with participants being assessed and tested for the Medium Rigid Licence. Topics covered in the program include Introduction to the Vehicle – Inspection, Demonstration Drive, Practical Drive and Practical Reverse.

The Heavy Rigid Licence Course is a one or two day program, depending on experience, with participants being assessed and tested for the Heavy Rigid Licence. Topics covered in the program include Introduction to the Vehicle – Inspection, Demonstration Drive, Practical Drive and Practical Reverse.

The Heavy Combination Licence Course, for persons driving vehicles comprising of a prime mover and a connected trailer, is a one day or five day program, depending on experience, which concludes with participants being tested for the Heavy Combination Licence.

Topics covered in the course include Introduction to Vehicle – Inspection, Demonstration Drive, Practical Drive, Practical Reverse and Coupling.

S.M.A.R.T Training in Gippsland also offers courses for pre-learner and learner riders of motorcycles, and advanced courses for four wheel drives.
