Students will be welcomed with a breakfast on February 20 followed by a Welcome Ceremony, which the Latrobe City Mayor will attend. 3TR FM will be present during the breakfast, with live crosses between the station and the campus. The Welcome Ceremony is being held for the first time in the outdoor amphitheatre, giving students a true introduction to the Gippsland region and Campus.
50 of the new students commencing at Monash Gippsland are international students, who will participate in a wide variety of orientation activities specifically designed to welcome them to the region as well as the campus. Art and Design lecturer Tony Hanning recently exhibited at Dr. Martin Hooper will attend Polygots on February 25.
