Bruthen Blues & Arts Festival Despite the recent threat of bushfire, the Bruthen Blues & Arts Festival returns for its 12th year in 2007. By Bruthen Community - 1st February 2007 - Back to News Presented by the Bruthen Arts & Events Council, this year’s Festival weekend features:
- Chubby Rae & the Elevators
- Geoff Achison
- Lloyd Spiegel
- Rosie
- The WolfeGang
- The welcome return of Elston Gunn & the Tar Heels
And more…..
There will, of course, be all the usual activities and events, including the Friday night Open Jam at the Bruthen Inn, the Weekend Market stalls and Saturday Free Music Stage in the Main Street, workshops, food and drink, the Main Event on Saturday night at the Bruthen Inn, and the increasingly popular, laid-back Blues Café with
music and dinner in the hall, Sunday music and recovery breakfast and the big wind-down at the Bruthen Inn.
The Bruthen Blues and Arts Festival encourages local participation and involvement. It is a family-friendly event that relies on volunteers to put it all together, and where all profits go towards keeping the music and arts alive in Bruthen.
