Omeo Rodeo gets $170,800 funding for facility upgrades from federal Bushfire Recovery Local Economic Recovery Program
Omeo Rodeo has modernised its facilities after receiving Federal Government funding.
Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester said the project would be a great boost for the region. "Omeo Rodeo has received $170,800 from the Federal Government through the Bushfire Recovery Local Economic Recovery program," Mr Chester said.

Updated and modernised site
Mr Chester said, "This funding will ensure the site has updated and modern facilities to host events for years to come. Appropriate facilities ensure events such as the Omeo Rodeo can continue to attract people to our region."
"The upcoming Easter Saturday Rodeo is an excellent opportunity for locals and visitors to enjoy the upgraded facilities and I look forward to seeing Omeo busy with visitors." Mr Chester said. The project was funded through the Local Economic Recovery Program. The Federal Government and Victorian State Government jointly fund the program.
