Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park needs little introduction to the thousands of people who visit the hugely popular park annually to experience the natural wonders of the Far East. East Gippsland Shire Council has made it even easier to access information about the park, site bookings, and attractions in and around Mallacoota with the launch of a new website - mallacootaforeshore.com.au.

Park dedicated website

Council's Manager of Council Enterprises, Kris Wain, whose team oversees the operation of the Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park, said the park consistently ranked among the top five most-visited pages on council's website.

Mayor, Cr Mark Reeves said it was time for the park to have its own site to enhance the customer experience. "This eagerly anticipated website promises a treasure trove of information and updates tailored to holidaymakers, families planning their stays, and locals alike. It will undoubtedly elevate our online presence, providing visitors with streamlined access to essential information and booking services."

Enhancing park experience

In a move that underscores the park's significance to local businesses and the broader tourism industry, the website boasts a dedicated 'Explore/Things to Do' page, featuring direct links to Visit Mallacoota and Visit Gippsland. These links give visitors easy access to information about local businesses and services, further enhancing their experience.

The new website mirrors the park's stunning surroundings, serving as the ultimate hub for booking inquiries, rates, and the latest news and offerings at the park. "Designed with user-friendliness in mind (it is great on a smartphone or tablet) the site is visually pleasing, featuring a breathtaking array of new images capturing the park's natural beauty and the surrounding landscape. Be sure to visit us at www.mallacootaforeshore.com.au. Better still, book a site and come and stay with us!" Mr Wain said.

Busy long weekend ahead

Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park is gearing up for a busy long weekend from 29 September to 2 October with the AFL and NRL grand finals creating dual public holidays for Victoria and NSW.

"Due to Mallacoota's location on the Victoria/NSW border the park is already seeing a large peak in occupancy as guests prepare to visit from both states. The annual Mallacoota Cup soccer tournament will be held simultaneously over the same long weekend drawing an even greater number of visitors into the area with teams travelling from across Victoria and interstate. The long weekend will also coincide with a large event at the new Mallacoota SkatePark on Saturday, September 30. See you there!" Cr Reeves said.
