South Gippsland Shire Council Road Management Plan paused due to wild storms in February 2024
The South Gippsland Shire Council Road Management Plan is halted amid the response to the February 13, 2024 storm, affecting service delivery temporarily due to unforeseen circumstances outlined in section 4.11.
The South Gippsland Shire Council Road Management Plan has been suspended while council and the community respond to the 13 February 2024 storm event. Council makes every endeavour to meet all aspects of the South Gippsland Council Road Management Plan.

Service disruption notification
However occasionally, there will be situations that impact council's business activity and affect our ability to deliver the service levels outlined in the Plan. The 13 February 2024 storm event is one such event.
The South Gippsland Shire Council Road Management Plan has temporarily suspended (as per section 4.11 Exceptional Circumstance) the South Gippsland Shire road network for a period of three months, due to our inability to meet the required service levels.
