Rates due 15 February 2023 for South Gippsland Shire property owners
Rates are due in full by 15 February 2023 for property owners who have not elected to pay by an instalment or payment plan.
It is never too late for a personalised payment plan if you are behind. If you need assistance, our friendly Rates team can be contacted on 5662 9200 or rates@southgippsland.vic.gov.au.
Rates and charges, including waste charges, are the most significant revenue source for Council and make up 62 percent of its total revenue (annual budget)
Reference numbers stay with the property, so please ensure you update your banking details if you have moved house. Notices can be delivered by email if requested, or you can set it up yourself by following the directions on your notice or by visiting South Gippsland Shire Rates page.
