New Arts and Design Centre at Gippsland Grammar in Sale opens after $2M of federal government investment
Darren Chester opens Gippsland Grammar's new Arts and Design Centre, highlighting local job creation and student benefits.
Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester celebrated the opening of the new Arts and Design Centre at Gippsland Grammar in Sale this week. Mr Chester said the project supported local jobs with Bairnsdale based Brookers Builders undertaking the construction.

Arts student support
Mr Chester said, "This building is a testament to the exceptional quality of our local builders and tradespeople and promotes the importance of utilising local trades. This project supported local jobs throughout the construction and Brookers Builders have delivered an exceptional facility that will support students now and into the future."
"The new Arts and Design Centre at Gippsland Grammar will support students in a range of arts and media subjects such as woodworking, graphic design and ceramics. Improving student facilities ensures young Gippslanders have access to a wide range of specialist subjects."
"The previous federal government committed $2 million to the project through the Capital Grants program which will support students in a range of arts subjects including woodworks and ceramics." Mr Chester said.
