Sale Airshow at West Sale Airport on ANZAC weekend 23-24 April 2022
Combat Flights Gippsland offer spine-tingling aerobatic flights in the heart of Central Gippsland, West Sale.
Annual ANZAC Weekend Airshow promises to be a weekend of wow, with aircraft displays, aerobatic demonstrations and wings of all sizes: RAAF, commercial and recreational. There'll also be the P51 Mustang of RAAF historic flight / 100 Squadron. The Mustang was an important aircraft for Australia in late WW2 through to the Korean War era and pretty cool to see. No to be outdone, RAAF c27J Spartan will complete an aerial display both days of the show, a sight to see.
Get up close to the aircraft and action, enjoy a bonus tour of the Armed Forces Museum, plus food stalls, fashion, regional showcase, car show and more!

Aircraft displays
The air displays will showcase precision formations, jaw-dropping aerobatics including loop de loops, rolls and other spectacular feats. The program also features the RAAF Roulettes and handling displays. Can't tell your Winjeels from your Wolf Pitts, or your CT-4s from your T-24s? No worries it's not just for aviation lovers. There is a lively festival-feel and the event is very family friendly. There's a fashion show, regional displays, parachutists display, live music, food vans and local produce.
Aircraft Displays - When your attention isn't turned to the sky, check out the incredible static aircraft displays, aircraft for sale and aviation trade stands. If you're lucky, you might even be able to climb onboard and see them from the inside! Car and Motorcycle Displays - If you like all types of engines, you're in luck.

Tinamba food and wine festival
And don't forget, nearby the Tinamba Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing on Sun 24 Apr, so you can package together a weekend of spectacular energy with local yums. Under the giant leafy oak trees in the main street of Tinamba, Gippsland wineries, growers, makers and producers will be slinging their edible wares. Lovers of good food and wine be there on an empty stomach!
One of Gippsland's most anticipated annual events, the Tinamba Food and Wine Festival is a showcase of Central and Eastern Gippsland wines, food and produce. Taste the new vintages from local wineries and try fantastic snacks and meals from a range of local faves including the Tinamba Hotel.
