Kerryn Ellis as South Gippsland Shire Council CEO is in Top 50 Public Sector Women 2022 from Institute of Public Administration Australia
Statement from Mayor Mohya Davies: re CEO Kerryn Ellis Award.
Mayor Mohya Davies said, "Last Friday our CEO, Kerryn Ellis was recognised as one of the Institute of Public Administration Australia's 'Top 50 Public Sector Women' in Victoria during COVID-19. She was one of only five women selected from the local government. Kerryn's achievement recognises her strong leadership during the pandemic and her ability to adapt to a changing situation.

Impressed for the achievement
Mayor Davies said, "This achievement is particularly impressive when you consider Kerryn only started at South Gippsland Shire Council in March 2020, a few days before the full impact of COVID was felt worldwide."
"On behalf of South Gippsland Shire Council, we would like to congratulate Kerryn on this award and thank her for her contribution to local government and to the South Gippsland community." Mayor Davies concluded.
