Mallacoota's local health service and Federal MP Darren Chester have made substantial strides in upgrading cottages and constructing universally accessible units
"There's a major housing shortage in Mallacoota which was made worse when more than 100 homes were lost in the Black Summer bushfires. The Miva Miva project auspiced by MDHSS will help to address housing affordability and access issues because it targets some of the most vulnerable people in the community including those with chronic health conditions, the aged, or people with disabilities. Well done to everyone involved in bringing this important project to fruition," Mr Chester said.
