Maffra Cricket Club receives $150,000 grant for safer and better training experience through Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program
Local cricketers can now enjoy improved training facilities at Maffra Cricket Club thanks to funding through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
Local MP Darren Chester said the $150,000 grant created a safer and better training experience for players. "The new fully enclosed nets now have room for the bowlers to have a decent run up on a synthetic surface."

Mr Chester added, "Wellington Shire Council managed the project and worked with local volunteers to deliver exceptional facilities for local cricketers. The upgrade is a testament to the dedication of local volunteers and their focus on having high quality facilities for players."
