New Bullock Island bridge that links town to redeveloped facilities progress with funding from previous federal government
The new Bullock Island bridge and associated works are starting to take shape, according to local MP Darren Chester.
local MP Darren Chester said the project would provide a critical link between the island's commercial fishing, education precinct, Gippsland Ports, tourism activities and the Princes Highway.

Mr Chester added, "I secured $5 million from the previous Federal Government for these works which include new pedestrian access to link the Lakes Entrance esplanade with the island's redeveloped facilities such as the on-water cafe."
"The work is due to be completed in December and I know it will make a huge difference to locals and also all the visitors the warmer months bring." Mr Chester concluded.
