South Gippsland Shire Council update late April 2022 - Community feedback wanted on draft plans
In The Know is your fortnightly reminder of what Council is up to at the moment. Have a look at what is going on and how you can get involved!
At the April Council Meeting, Councillors endorsed seven draft strategic plans, namely the Community Vision 2040; Council Plan 2022 - 2026; Annual Budget 2022/23; Long-Term Financial Plan; Arts, Culture and Creative Industries Strategy 2022 - 2026; and Revenue and Rating Plan 2022 - 2026.
Council has also used feedback collected during the Regional Profile Project to inform these plans
All of these plans are now available for community feedback until 15 May. During this time, a number of engagement events have been scheduled with a great mix of face-to-face and online to ensure you get the chance to make your voice heard. These plans have been informed by extensive community engagement that has taken place since December last year where council collected feedback from over 900 people from diverse backgrounds.
Plans ready for feedback
Now though, we are keen to get the community involved again to let us know if these plans hit the right note. To do this, we have organised a number of engagement events where you can ask your questions and find out more. These events are:
