Positive for creativity and visitation
Mayor of Latrobe City, Councillor Kellie O'Callaghan said the writing competition was a positive for creativity and visitation. "The Power of Words competition is a chance to promote Latrobe City as a place to visit. The photos selected as inspiration for our writers demonstrate the heritage, history, natural scenery and potential of our wonderful region."
"From autumn colours to magical water views, farming and industrial landscape to the glittering stars above a country home, writers will use Latrobe City as a backdrop for their imagined worlds. The competition is open for local residents and writers from further afield too. We hope visitors are inspired to come and spend some time here to shape their stories."
