Social and affordable housing
For the draft social and affordable housing strategy, council endorsed the Draft Social and Affordable Strategy for community feedback until 10 June 2022. The Draft Social and Affordable Housing Strategy can be found in fullin at the 'Social and affordable housing strategy' page.
Great Southern rail trail
For the Great Southern rail trail visitation and marketing plan, council endorsed the Great Southern Rail Trail Visitation and Marketing Plan and its release to the public for community feedback until 2 June 2022. Tree removal and replacement
For Gardner Lane, Poowong - Tree Removal / Replacement Options, the council will consider the options and costings for the replacement of trees to be removed in Gardner Lane, Poowong and will defer a decision on the replacement of the trees until after a Tree Replacement Plan has been endorsed by council and detailed cost estimates have been established. General revaluation 2022
Council received and adopted the General Valuation 2022 and noted that the Valuer-General Victoria will be taking over this process from June 2022. The General Revaluation 2022 can be found in full at council's agendas and minutes page.
Submission to MAV
Council endorsed the following Notices of Motion for consideration by the Municipal Association of Victoria's state council. These notices of motion are: Increased funding for road projects, Improved telecommunications/internet, Improved pest and weed management, Increased funding for Early Years Infrastructure, Responsive maintenance and management of state-owned assets and improved public transport in regional Victoria.
