Gippsland Regional Livestock Exchange sale days change with sheep on Mondays, prime cattle on Wednesdays and more
Due to changes at the Victorian Livestock Exchange and Pakenham closure, Wellington Shire Council updates Gippsland sale days: prime cattle Wednesdays, sheep Mondays, and cattle store sales the first Friday monthly.
Due to changes in sale dates at the Victorian Livestock Exchange in Leongatha and the closure of the Pakenham Victorian Livestock Exchange, Wellington Shire Council advises immediate changes to sale days at the Gippsland Regional Livestock Exchange (GRLE) .

Sale date changes
- Prime cattle sale will move to a Wednesday - effective Wednesday 3 July 2024 at 11.30am and will continue weekly
- Sheep sales will move to a Monday - effective Monday 24 June 2024 at 12.30pm and will continue fortnightly
- Cattle store sales will move back to the first Friday of the month - effective Friday 5 July 2024 at 9.00am
