Bass Coast Shire Council launches Solar Savers to make rooftop solar more affordable for the residents
Bass Coast Council launches Solar Savers, aiding households/businesses with affordable rooftop solar, rebates, and credible advice. Over 680 systems installed since 2019.
In another significant move towards addressing the climate emergency, Bass Coast Shire Council is proud to announce the local launch of Solar Savers, a collaboration between 16 Victorian local governments aimed at helping households and businesses install quality and affordable rooftop solar and batteries, and access government rebates.

Empowering energy independence
Since 2019, Solar Savers has supported the installation of over 680 solar PV systems across Victoria. By installing rooftop solar through Solar Savers, residents and businesses in Bass Coast can reduce energy bills and future-proof against increasing energy costs, while supporting the transition to clean, renewable energy.
Through Solar Savers, households and businesses can access free and credible advice about solar products, government rebates, and tips to reduce your energy bill. Solar Savers provides peace of mind about your solar system, by partnering with a trusted solar installer, chosen through a public tender process, with independent audits conducted on 5% of all installations.
