Planning and development
Planning Application AMD0065/21 - 155 Burnt Store Road, Lardner,
Council moved to issue Notice of Decision to Grant an Amended Planning Permit for Planning Application AMD0065/21 (155 Burnt Store Road, Larnder).
Planning Application PLA0170/21 - 11 Gibson Street, Trafalgar
Council moved to issue Notice of Decision to Grant a Planning Permit for Planning Application PLA0170/21 (11 Gibson Street, Trafalgar).
Planning Application PLA0238/21 - 34 - 38 Drouin Road, Longwarry
Council resolved to advise VCAT that had it determined the application, it would have been to refuse Planning Permit Application PLA0238/21, which proposes buildings and works to construct 32 dwellings and to create and alter access to a Road in a Road Zone (34-38 Drouin Road, Longwarry).
Community infrastructure
For Trafalgar library feasibility study outcomes, council endorsed 28 Contingent Street, Trafalgar (the old Trafalgar kindergarten) as the preferred static library site and the concept design for 28 Contingent Street, Trafalgar. Council will consider allocating funding to progress the detailed design as part of the future budget processes.
Governance and information services
Memorials on council land policy
Council noted the Draft Memorials on council Land Property and moved to place the Draft Memorials on council Land Policy on public exhibition between 25 August 2022 and 25 September 2022 in accordance with council's Community Engagement Policy.
Committee and delegates report
Councillor Gauci spoke about the recent Early Years Advisory Committee meeting, led by Leonie Martens, who is a superstar for council. Three new members joined the committee with a great mix of expertise.
Councillor Wallace spoke about the Municipal Emergency Management Committee meeting, and spoke of his regret at having to step away from the Committee, but that Councillor Cook would be an excellent replacement.

All council meetings will be live-streamed, and archived recordings will be available on the council website for viewing. The agenda for the next meeting will be available online the Friday prior to the meeting.
