Join the Aviation and Aerospace Careers Expo at Hangar 2, Latrobe Regional Airport on 6 May 2025
Latrobe's Aviation Careers Expo will showcase aerospace technology, student-built projects, and industry innovations to 100 students through tours, interactive displays, and career insights from education and aviation experts.
Latrobe City Council and the Baw Baw Latrobe LLEN are hosting a Careers Expo with a focus on aviation and aerospace at the Latrobe Aerospace Technology Precinct, Latrobe Regional Airport from 10.00am-2,30pm. The expo will see 100 students attend in two sessions and include a tour of GippsAero and Helimed.

Aviation futures showcase
The expo will include interactive displays and career information from education institutions and industry. Swinburne University of Technology AIR Hub will have its latest hydrogen powered drone on display. RMIT University is bringing a rocket that has been designed and built by students, along with drones that have been built by students.
Industry participation will include demonstration of an unmanned Aircraft Traffic Management system by Thales and Dovetail electric aviation will be onsite to talk about the electric aircraft engine that they are developing. Local aviation businesses, Jet Aviation and Pilatus will also be in
attendance.
