New inflatable obstacles for kids are at Gippsland Regional Sports Complex from 5 April 2024 with two-hour sessions and safety supervision
During school holidays, Wellington Shire Council invites families to GRSC's new inflatable obstacles, promoting fitness and fun. Open Fridays to Mondays, 10am-3pm, starting April 5th. Mayor Ian Bye encourages participation.
Kids bouncing off the walls? These school holidays, Wellington Shire Council is encouraging families to jump into Gippsland Regional Sports Complex's new inflatable obstacles. Officially launching 5 April, the equipment includes an obstacle run, giant dart board, jumping castle, slam dunk zone and a ball pit. Set up on court 4 of the indoor stadium, the sports-themed inflatables aim to engage young people to increase their fitness and wellbeing in a fun way, allowing them to socialise with peers.

Inflatable fun extended
Wellington Shire Council Mayor Ian Bye encouraged families to take advantage of GRSC's extended school holiday opening hours. "The GRSC's inflatables are a great excuse to get out of the house and enjoy some physical activity in all weather," he said.
Starting 5 April, GRSC's inflatables will be open from 10am until 3pm, Friday to Monday during school holidays, and Sundays during school terms. Entry is $15 for two hours, and includes access to general sports equipment on the adjoining three courts. Equipment is suitable for those aged 5 plus.
