Baw Baw Shire Council meeting to be held in Algie Hall in Neerim South on 14 September 2022
Residents of Neerim South and surrounds are invited to attend an ordinary council meeting at Neerim South's Algie Hall on Wednesday 14 September from 5.30pm.
As part of Baw Baw Shire Council's community outreach and engagement program, Baw Baw Shire Council will relocate its next ordinary council meeting to Neerim South, with community members invited to attend, no bookings required.
- When: Wednesday 14 September at 5.30pm
- Where: Algie Hall, Neerim South, 213 Main Neerim Road, Neerim South
The agenda for the meeting will be made available on Friday 9 September on Baw Baw Shire Council's website.

Viewing council meetings
Interested community members are welcome to view the items, reports and attachments prepared by council staff that will be deliberated by councillors during the meeting. Community members who are unable to attend the meeting in person, will be able to watch the meeting via a live stream on Baw Baw Shire Council's Facebook page.
All council meetings are live streamed and archived with recordings made available on Baw Baw Shire Council's website. For viewing a few days after the meeting. Residents can also stay in the loop with council meeting decisions, outcomes and plans following the meeting by subscribing to Baw Baw Shire Council News Email Updates.
Opportunity for the locals
All further ordinary council meetings will resume at the West Gippsland Arts Centre - Fountain Room on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 5.30pm, unless otherwise advised. For more information on council meetings please visit Baw Baw Shire Council meetings web page.
Mayor Michael Leaney said, "It is always a pleasure when we have the chance to take our council meetings on the road and travel to other locations around the Shire. It provides a great opportunity for locals in the area, who may not otherwise find it convenient to attend a council meeting, to come along and participate."
