Opportunity to know more
Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Brett Tessari said the session was a good opportunity for people to ask questions and find out more about the latest concept designs for the Centre.
"This project is really important for the Phillip Island community and so we encourage them to come along to this session and ask any questions that they might have," Cr Tessari said.
Bringing the community together
The redevelopment of the Cowes Cultural and Community Centre involves replacing the existing Centre, to create a dynamic and interactive place that is a source of community pride. Cr Tessari said that once built, the Centre will bring together the cultural and social aspirations of the community and will draw in visitors to showcase the history and culture of the region.
"This is a magnificent, intergenerational project, that will provide an incredible facility for a huge range community activities and events for may years to come," Cr Tessari concluded.
