Community grants celebration
Baw Baw Shire Mayor Cr Annemarie McCabe congratulated each of the community groups that received funding and said she was proud that council could support such important local community groups to carry out their events and activities.
"Our local community groups, and the volunteers who run these, are the fabric of our community and council is proud to be in a position where we can support you to deliver your events and make purchases to help ensure your groups are adequately resourced. This is just one small way that we can offer our thanks and appreciation for all that you do, and I hope these grants make a big difference," she said.
Community grants
To congratulate the recipients of this year's Community Grants Program, council will hold a Grants Reception at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Thursday 23 May, where the successful community groups will be invited to celebrate each other's success. For further information on this, please email Grants@bawbawshire.vic.gov.au
Later this year, applications will also open for the Minor Capital Works Program, as well as the round one of Community Projects for the 2024/25 program. Information about this can be found on council's website at Baw Baw Shire Community Grants Program website.
