Community support initiative
Managing director Sarah Cumming said Gippsland Water is focused on finding ways to provide meaningful community support beyond its essential services. "We're always proud to see our people lending a hand and supporting the incredible work happening at the People's Kitchen. It's a tangible way for them to give back to their community, connect with the team at Morwell Neighbourhood House, and maybe even learn a new recipe."
Morwell Neighbourhood House manager Tracie Lund said Gippsland Water's support has had a positive impact. "Having Gippsland Water join us in the kitchen today has been fantastic. Their support helps us continue providing nutritious meals to those in need, while also strengthening the sense of community that makes the People's Kitchen so special and so impactful," Ms Lund said.
