New 'Regional Launching Pad' initiative to boost economic growth by connecting businesses and investors across regional Victoria
The new 'Regional Launching Pad' initiative will provide shared spaces in regional Victoria to connect businesses, start-ups, and investors, driving economic growth and offering access to investment and innovation resources.
Regional Development Victoria is backing our regional innovators through support for new ways to connect that will drive new economic growth in regional Victoria. As part of the Economic Growth Statement, we will pilot a new 'Regional Launching Pad' initiative. The launching pads will offer new shared collaboration spaces to bring regional businesses, start-ups, entrepreneurs and investors together to meet, work and collaborate.
The new 'Regional Launching Pad' initiative will create shared collaboration spaces for regional businesses, start-ups, entrepreneurs, and investors to meet, work, and collaborate
Regional business connections
The Regional Launching Pads will offer meeting and event spaces in Morwell, Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Wangaratta and the Melbourne CBD, to help businesses connect. This initiative will make it easier for regional businesses and entrepreneurs to access Victoria's full suite of investment, innovation and trade initiatives.
By giving regional businesses and entrepreneurs access to shared working spaces in government offices, they'll be able to connect with local experts to help them get their idea off the ground or grow their business.
The pilot will deliver new spaces in collaboration with the Geelong Chamber of Commerce, regional business chambers, and International Chamber House in Melbourne. Businesses are encouraged to contact their local Regional Development Victoria office for more information.
