South Gippsland Australia Day Photography Competition 2023 winners proudly announced
Announcing the winners of the South Gippsland 2023 Australia Day photography competition.
South Gippsland Shire Council would like to congratulate the winners of this year's Australia Day Photography Competition:
- Best Image (under 15): Tahlia Jeffries for the image 'Big Lick'
- Best Image (open section): Lisa Riley for the image 'New Year's Morn'
An awards presentation announcing the winning entries can be viewed at South Gippsland Australia Day page.
This year there were over 100 entries for the competition with many photographers reflecting on the beauty of South Gippsland and family, friendship and community
Cr Nathan Hersey, Mayor South Gippsland Shire Council said, "It was terrific to see so many people enter our Australia Day Photography Competition this year. I loved seeing how people interpreted the theme and there were many creative entries."
"South Gippsland is fortunate to have so many artistic and talented community members, and I would like to thank all of this year's entrants for taking the time to submit an entry." Cr Hersey said.
