Latrobe City community invited to 'Buy a Seat' to support local theatre at Gippsland Performing Arts Centre
Program aims to support free education and public programs, helping to provide greater access to our community.
Gippslanders are invited to share their love of theatre by purchasing a seat in the new Gippsland Performing Arts Centre. The Buy a Seat program aims to support free education and public programs, helping to provide greater access to our community.
Supporters for the Buy a Seat program can invest for a three, five or ten-year term and can opt to pay in full or annually
Opportunity to make a meaningful contribution
Buy A Seat supporters will also access a range of benefits at the new venue such as early access to program announcements and priority access to tickets, as well as invitations to VIP events and recognition for their support at the venue. The program is open to individuals, partners, families, community groups and businesses who want to be a part of the new home of the arts in Gippsland.
Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Cr Kellie O'Callaghan said the Buy a Seat program offered an opportunity for people to make a meaningful contribution to the growth of performing arts in the region.
Lasting legacy
Cr Kellie O'Callaghan said, "The Gippsland Performing Arts Centre will be a place where everyone is welcome. An important way to achieve this is to offer immersive educational activities and programs that are open to the whole community."
"As a supporter of the program, you will see tangible benefits as we lift the curtain on this exciting facility and deliver a range of activities from free outdoor events, hands on skill-building workshops and plenty of activities for children and families - leaving a lasting legacy," said Cr O'Callaghan.
More information about the program can be found on the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre support website or by emailing boxoffice@latrobe.vic.gov.au.
