Environmental grants for East Gippsland Water for native vegetation and habitat creation open until 30 September 2022
Educational and not-for-profit community groups across East Gippsland are encouraged to apply for Round 10 of its Native Vegetation and Habitat Creation grant until 30 September 2022.
Calling all educational and not-for-profit community groups across East Gippsland! East Gippsland Water is now inviting applications for Round 10 of its Native Vegetation and Habitat Creation Grants. Grants are available for new and existing projects focusing on native vegetation planting and habitat creation. More information, including the eligibility criteria and an application pack, is available on the East Gippsland Water Native Vegetation and Habitat Creation Grants web page, or by contacting East Gippsland Water's Customer, Community & Communications Team on 1800 671 841.
Round 10 of our Native Vegetation and Habitat Creation is now open to educational and community groups with in East Gippsland with applications closing on 30th September
Improving the resilience
East Gippsland Water's Executive Manager Customers, Community & Communications, David Radford, said, "We're delighted to be able to offer these grants, which are a part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the liveability and improve the resilience of our vibrant region. "Over the past four years, projects have been funded across East Gippsland including:
- Raymond Island
- Bairnsdale
- Swifts Creek
- Lakes Entrance
- Toorloo Arm
- Buchan
- MarloOrbost
- Mallacoota
"Some of these projects have benefitted from multiple years of funding. We have funded more than 25 environmental projects so far - could yours be next?" Mr Radford said.
Applications need to be submitted by 4 pm, on Friday 30 September 2022, with successful grant recipients announced in East Gippsland Water's In the Flow Page in the Bairnsdale Advertiser, Lakes Post and Snowy River Mail, as well as on the organisation's website.
