Expressions of interest for Korumburra Railway Precinct Mural Project close 8 October 2023
South Gippsland Shire Council seeks qualified artists or collectives to create a mural on Commercial Street, Korumburra. The EOI process prioritises mural quality, site responsiveness, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration.
South Gippsland Shire Council is calling for expressions of interest from suitably qualified visual artists or art collectives to create a mural on the external wall of Commercial Street, Korumburra.
EOIs from artists will be reviewed by the SGSC Arts Officer, council's Arts Advisory Committee members, and two Korumburra Secondary College students. Seeking mural expertise and stakeholder communication skills

This EOI process calls for artists with experience in both delivering high quality murals and liaising with stakeholders. Artists will be invited to complete the EOI and will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Capacity to respond to the site and relevant experience to develop a well-considered concept
- Demonstrated capacity to create artwork that is innovative and engaging
- Experience working with various stakeholders
