Reliable water supply
Once complete, plant operations will be more reliable and site maintenance will be simpler, and safer to complete. Customers will enjoy a more reliable, high quality water source with less risk of interruption. The project is expected to be completed by September and is part of a larger body of work the organisation is doing to renew existing infrastructure and increase network resilience.
Customers' water supply will not be interrupted by the works. Gippsland Water is actively planning for the future by investing more than $86M in the Latrobe Valley to combat challenges in climate, weather, and population.
