Victorian Electoral Commission is conducting a review of South Gippsland Shire Councils ward boundaries
The VEC seeks public input on proposed South Gippsland Shire boundary review to ensure fair voter representation. Submissions accepted until March 5. Details on VEC website.
The VEC is seeking public feedback on a proposed boundary review for South Gippsland Shire. The VEC is requesting public feedback as they review the internal boundaries (wards) of the South Gippsland Shrie Council. A review occurs when the number of voters per councillor is forecast to be outside the legislated +/- 10% tolerance in one or more wards at the next council election. This is to ensure that each voter is represented equally.
