Latrobe City Council is pleased the federal and Victorian governments are investing in local rail connections that will benefit Latrobe City residents with improvement works at Morwell and Traralgon stations underway.
Upgrades at the Traralgon Station will also provide a relocated bus exchange with more seating and shelter for users. Additional services between Traralgon and Melbourne will be enabled following the works which are expected for completion in 2022. This will be supported by a new signalling system which will be introduced in 2023.
