Free Seniors Festival film and lunch event in Wonthaggi on 22 March 2022 hosted by Bass Coast Shire Council
Bass Coast Shire Council, in partnership with the Victorian Seniors Festival, is hosting a free Seniors Festival film and lunch event in Wonthaggi on Tuesday, 22 March.
Seniors Festival events are held across Victoria to honour senior community members and to encourage them to get out and about by participating in free or low cost activities. The event includes a film screening at the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre, as well as a lunch at the Wonthaggi Workmen's Club, free for Victorian Seniors Card holders.

Movie sessions
If you don't have a Seniors Card or you're a senior who would like to attend with a friend or relative who doesn't have a card, there are also paid tickets available for this event.
Morning session
- Starts at 10.30am
- Featured movie: 'Belfast'
Afternoon session
- Starts at 2.00pm
- Featured film: 'Death on the Nile'
Lunch
Lunch can be enjoyed anytime just across the road from the theatre between:
- 12.00pm to 2.00pm
- Wonthaggi Workmen's Club
Tickets are limited, so bookings are essential for all attendees through Seniors Festival Event web page or by calling the Arts Centre on (03) 5671 2470. Transport assistance to and from the event is available free of charge for Seniors Card holders and their companions from a number of central locations across Bass Coast.
