Feedback wanted from families for local kindergarten providers and Bass Coast Shire Council
Bass Coast Shire Council and local kindergarten providers want to hear from families, to better understand kindergarten needs for the Shire into the future.
If you have a child or children that will be starting kindergarten in Bass Coast in the next two years and would like to provide information about your future kindergarten needs, please consider taking a short survey, which can be found at Kindergarten at Bass Coast webpage.
All registrations for 2022 are now processed on a weekly basis, providers will be in contact, within a week of completing your registration, to discuss availability for 2022
Kindergarten access opportunities
Council is working with Kindergarten providers and will use this information to understand how local families would like to access kindergarten over the next two years. From this webpage, families can also complete a 'Register Your Interest' form, which will allow Council to provide them with information about attending and registering for kindergarten in 2023 and beyond.
Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Michael Whelan said Bass Coast is continuing to experience steady population growth, which puts additional demand on early years' services. "Council would like to hear from families to find out what they need, so kindergarten providers can continue to meet those needs into the future," Cr Whelan said.
