Latrobe City Council invites business owners to attend upcoming Business Capability Grants information sessions on 28 May and 19 June 2025
Latrobe City small and medium businesses can apply for grants of up to $8,000 for training, infrastructure, or expansion. Info sessions: 28 May and 19 June. Applications close 11 July.
Local small and medium businesses in Latrobe City are encouraged to apply for Latrobe City Council's upcoming Business Capability Grants program. Local businesses could be eligible for up to $4,000 for workforce development and training or up to $8,000 for business expansion and infrastructure.
Latrobe Business owners are invited to attend info sessions on 28 May or 19 June before applications close 11 July 2025
Business grants briefings
Interested business owners are encouraged to attend one of the upcoming information sessions:
- 28 May 2025 from 6pm to 7pm at Nambur Wariga, Council Headquarters, Morwell
- 19 June 2025 from 4pm to 5pm at Nambur Wariga, Council Headquarters, Morwell
Applications are open from Monday 2 June and close on Friday 11 July 2025. More information and the application portal will be available at Latrobe City Business Capability Grants page.
Empowering local businesses
Latrobe City Council Mayor, Councillor Dale Harriman noted the importance of support for local businesses and Latrobe's economy. "We want to empower local businesses to reach their growth potential, increase local profitability and create new job opportunities."
"Council is proud to be delivering the Business Capability Program in partnership with the Victorian government. We encourage all local small and medium businesses to check their eligibility and apply," said the Mayor.
